Process of becoming a GFSO Volunteer

• All Managers and coaches are recruited and procured by the GFSO Coach's and Manager's Agent. Recommendations are brought to the GFSO Board of Directors for a vote of approval.

• Once approved, coach/manager will receive a registration to the USA Softball registration system, where they will login in to submit for a background check. From the USA Softball registration portal, you can also access the SafeSport website for additional required coaches/manager training.

• ALL Managers and coaches are required to attend all training programs conducted through GFSO, unless excused by the Manager's and Coach's Agent. This includes but is not limited to the mandatory USA Softball Coaches Clinic, ACE certification training and Concussion training. Links to SafeSport and USA Softball registration are below.

• RegisterUSASoftball.com- is the online membership website for USA Softball

The StackTeam app allows coaches to create their very own team application that can be used for communication between coaches and parents, schedule games and practices, create voting polls for player of the game, and share pictures and/or videos in the gallery. All of this can be done within 10 minutes!
